Screening of Anonymous People

Join Recover Alaska and UAA’s Alcohol, Drug, and Wellness Education program for a screening of the Anonymous People. Hosted during National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week, the film covers the addiction epidemic and long-term recovery movement in the United States. The film sheds light on deeply entrenched stigmas, and the hope that those in long-term recovery can help to shift the narrative away from stigma of addiction and recovery. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with participants and individuals in Anchorage’s recovery communities. More information can be found here. This event is free and open to the public.
