Alaska Strengthening Families Training

Strengthening Families is a researched-informed, strength-based approach focused on engaging families, programs, and communities in building five protective factors that help families succeed and thrive, even in the face of risk and challenges: parental resilience, social connections, concrete support in times of need, knowledge of parenting and child development, and social and emotional competence of children. The overarching goal is the promotion of child and family well-being. The training will take place August 29-30, 8:30-4:30 and is free to attend. For more information, click here.
