After being asked to run on behalf of NANA Regional Corp., Davidann Piayuq Maiyuk Mills, 19, was surprised to find out she’d won the title of Miss Arctic Circle. Naturally shy, she’d never expected to end up in the spotlight, but that’s not holding her back from setting serious goals for her one-year term.
