Tiffany Hall
President/CEOHello! My name is Tiffany Hall. I am the youngest of 4 children of John and Jane Hall and was born and raised on the east side of Anchorage. I graduated from Bartlett High School, went to Pomona College outside of Los Angeles, then lived in San Francisco and Austin playing rugby and working a variety of jobs from fundraising to restaurant managing to marketing/public relations. I went to graduate school in Oregon and moved home in 2012 to work at the Providence Alaska Foundation.
I came to Recover Alaska as the Executive Director in 2016; the job felt like a perfect alignment of my experience and education combined with a deep passion. As a person who struggled with co-occurring alcohol use and anxiety disorders, my life is only possible through the hope and joy of recovery (since 2009!), and I’m so grateful to get to devote my energy to reducing the harms of alcohol and creating a safer, healthier environment for all of us.
I love writing poems, playing outside, dressing in costumes, singing loudly in my car, and dancing every chance I get. I grew up watching my dad run Mount Marathon in Seward, inspiring me to run it 15 times (dressed like a butterfly the most recent years!). I watched my mom do the Gold Nugget Triathlon and I've done it a few times myself, and even did an iron-woman triathlon for my brother's birthday.
Nowadays I spend as much time as I can with my two young children, Margaret and Frederick - which is basically every second I'm not at work since I'm a solo mom! I love my kiddos beyond measure; together we grow veggies in our garden, read books out loud, play tickle tag, make gratitude lists, and we're looking forward to summer hikes and winter sleds.

Sara Platt
Director of OperationsHi! I'm Sara, and I'm the Director of Operations here at Recover Alaska. My job is to keep our systems strong, our team supported, and our mission moving forward. I work behind the scenes to make sure our big-picture goals translate into day-to-day progress - so we can better serve community across Alaska and reduce the harms of alcohol use.
Before stepping into this role, I led our Access to Care work as a program manager, where I focused on making support accessible, compassionate, and community-centered. That experience - along with my background in nonprofit leadership and direct service work grounded in building relationships - shaped how I approach operations today: with people at the center and purpose as the guide.
I've called Alaska home for almost a decade now, and I love being surrounded by nature, good people, and meaningful work. Outside of Recover Alaska, you find me out on a trail in Seward, trying new recipes with my husband, or daydreaming about next big adventure. I'm fueled by curiosity, connection, and a belief that everyone deserves to feel seen, supported, and safe.
Being a part of this team - and this mission - means so much to me. I'm proud of the work we do together and always excited about what's ahead!

Tesia Bobrycki
Prevention & Education Program ManagerI’m thrilled to introduce myself as the new Prevention & Education Manager for Recover Alaska and coordinator of the Alliance. My name is Tesia (teh-sha), and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to join such an impactful organization and network. A bit about me: I live on a 30ft sailboat in beautiful Cordova, Alaska, and when I’m not navigating the Sound, I’m often found underwater as a professional diver. I adore being in the woods and on the water and tend to spend my free time putting up good food and feeding people.
My real passion lies in supporting, serving, and being guided by community members and grassroots initiatives. With a decade of experience in non-profit program management centering Indigenous rights, I’ve dedicated my career to understanding and responding to community needs and I excel at jumping between state-wide initiatives and individual advocacy. Most recently, I have directed programs for ocean access and regenerative economic development in the way of seaweed farming throughout the Prince William Sound and state. I’m humbled to work with all of you to advance our shared mission to reduce the harms of alcohol and make a meaningful difference across Alaska. Thank you for welcoming me into this role—I’m eager to dive into deep listening with our Alliance members and provide a level of service, transparency and accountability that strengthens our collective power and increases our individual, organizational, and state-wide impact.

Kara Stewart
Office & Administrative CoordinatorHi all, I’m Kara! As Recover Alaska’s Office & Administrative Coordinator, I help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes, focusing on organization, administrative support, and making processes easier for everyone. I find joy in programmatic support, including helping make funding accessible to organizations and individuals doing meaningful work in our community. I’m passionate about supporting initiatives that help our community thrive - facilitating opportunities for connection, helping people feel seen and supported, and contributing to positive change. As someone whose life has been impacted by the harms of alcohol, I’m personally inspired by Recover Alaska’s mission and invested in contributing to a vision where everyone has the support, safety, and opportunity to heal and thrive.
When I’m not running around with my dog Pepper, you can usually find me baking something new or trying out a crafting project - I always seem to have a small creative project in the works. I also love wandering local craft and renaissance fairs, often in full renaissance attire! I try to bring that same mix of curiosity, creativity, and fun into my work, and I’m grateful to be part of the team building meaningful things together.
