Arciniega Street Productions is proud to present Anchorage’s monthly Alt R&B and Neo Soul+ concert series: LIGHTS DOWN LOW, made possible by a generous grant from Recover Alaska.
This listening room style series features different local artists and live bands every month with a uniquely curated R&B and Neo-Soul setlist in an intimate coffeehouse setting, which is a sober space. This month, we’re so excited to welcome our talented friends WASABI BLACK back to the LDL stage after their LDL debut a year ago!
Wasabi Black is an Alaska-grown 4-piece band that plays music of all genres and has enjoyed gracing stages all across the state, including the bustling Midnight Sun Festival in Fairbanks as well as the Girdwood Forest Fair. Their signature sound is truly eclectic – they do a little bit of everything with a funky, rich soulful undertone. On Saturday May 25th, they’ll be performing a diverse set of your favorite neo-soul and R&B songs from artists like SZA, Teyana Taylor, PJ Morton, SADE, and more – plus maybe a few wildcards that’ll keep you on your toes!
**TICKETS SOLD ONLINE ONLY. NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE DOOR**
Doors open at 6:45PM.
This is an all-ages show in a sober space. No alcohol will be served at this event.
We recommend getting tickets early as this show routinely sells out. After-hours coffee bar, craft mocktail menu, and food available for separate purchase at Cafecito.
