R.O.C.K. Mat-Su (Raising Our Children With Kindness) – ACEs Training

Across Alaska and the nation, people are talking about the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) study. This ACEs study outlined the greatest public health discovery in decades: that traumatic childhood events, such as experiencing abuse or neglect or witnessing domestic violence in the home, can create dangerous levels of stress that may result in long-term effects on behavior and health.

R.O.C.K. Mat-Su supports a cohort of 32 volunteer ACE Interface Trainers in the Mat-Su Borough. To learn more or to schedule a free training session for your group, please email ROCKmatsu@healthymatsu.org. Read more here.
