We aim to create a space that is safe and supportive for all who attend and especially for our trans BIPOC siblings (we will not work with police, will do our best to organize an event that minimizes risk of arrest of the protest component, and will assemble our own safety team to ensure our safety if right-wing antagonists show up). We also hope to help build the long term safety of our trans community from the structural harms we experience whether through incarceration, lack of access to healthcare, racism, transphobic bathrooms, anti-trans sports bills, etc.
