International Overdose Awareness Walk

Join the Fairbanks Native Association, Fairbanks Reentry Coalition, Prevention Alliance, and multiple other Fairbanks’ agencies, non-profits, and community members 5pm August 31, 2022 at Griffin Park/Moose Antler Arch to walk from downtown to Pioneer Park.

International Overdose Awareness Day is the world’s largest annual campaign to end overdose, to remember those who have dies, to stop the stigma, and to acknowledge the grief of the family and friends left behind. The campaign raises awareness of overdose, which is one of the world’s worst public health crises, and stimulates action and discussion about evidence-based overdose prevention and drug policy.
