Kingian Nonviolence Mini Workshop

November 14, 2020 @ 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

$45

Kingian Nonviolence Conflict Reconciliation is a philosophy and training methodology developed out of the teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. It is a transformative set of teachings that can change the way you look at conflict in your own life or in your home, and inspire you to engage in social change work in a way that brings us closer to Dr. King’s vision of Beloved Community. Throughout this interactive mini-workshop, we will explore the dynamics of conflict, definitions of violence, myths of nonviolence and the principles and steps of Kingian Nonviolence.

This workshop is organized and sponsored by East Bay Meditation Center. You can register at eastbaymeditation.org/calendar/online-kingian-nonviolence-mini-workshop/. The cost of this activity is on a sliding scale. The Alliance will pay $45 (plus ticketing fees) per person to attend. Please reach out to Jess Limbird, jlimbird@recoveralaska.org, to coordinate payment.
