“New Growth” is a different kind of fundraising dinner. No black tie or fancy costume needed. Instead of sitting in a banquet hall, you are invited to explore our indoor vertical-grow hydroponic farm on a self-guided scavenger hunt/tour. Learn the processes we use to grow fresh leafy greens year-round in our youth vocational training program Alaska Seeds of Change. Make a mini-hydroponic grow bottle to take home your own lettuce or herb plant. And learn how vocational training and wrap-around supports are coming together to help Anchorage youth turn their lives around and set them up for success. This is an alcohol-free, family friendly party, celebrating 3 years of growing at Seeds. Delicious fresh food by A Crepe Crew and DJ Spencer Lee spinning tunes.
The fun kicks off at 6:00 pm on Friday, February 21. Drop in for an hour or stay for the whole event but be sure to be there for door prize drawings at 7:30, because you must be present to win.
