Join us for the annual event, The Great Big Heart Show and fundraiser for Recover Alaska, at Middle Way Cafe!
Local artists have been invited to make artworks based on the theme, “the great big heart.”
Working in a variety of media and theme, this exhibit is an eclectic presentation of Anchorage’s best local talent. Emerging and seasoned artists present their varied interpretations of the heart. Nicholas Carpenter will host a variety of local musicians, performance, and spoken word artists.
The event will include several activities including a valentine making station, selfie station, flower crown booth, live printing byTent City Press, love advice by P.S. Consulting and more! Themed appetizers and a special menu will be provided by Middle Way Cafe. We will have a delicious sober bar and we encourage you to dress in your Valentine’s Day best!
Middle Way Cafe is a welcoming and safe space. We believe in our community. This show is a fundraiser for Recover Alaska, an organization doing important work throughout Alaska. We will be donating all commissions on sales to Recover and there will be lots of opportunities to “round up for Recover” throughout the night in addition to other ways of giving.
