The Alaska Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) will be hosting the Anchorage School District Out of the Darkness Campus Walk, virtually. Participants can join AFSP and Eagle River High School Principal, Mr. Timothy Helvey as well as students from the ERHS You Are Not Alone club for the virtual honor bead ceremony and variety of social media engagement opportunities.
The ASD OTD Campus Walk will be streamed live on Facebook at
https://www.facebook.com/AFSPAlaska. AFSP has been working hard on outlining a virtual program that focuses on saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide. Although we may be physically distancing ourselves and remaining in a hunker down mode, it is important to know we can still connect with one another to create a culture that is smart about
