12-Step Retreat – There Is A Solution

Based on the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous, this retreat is open to anyone interested in recovery from alcoholism and other addictions through the spirituality of the 12 Steps.

The retreat will consist of conferences, prayer & reflection, group sharing, and time for individual conferences, confession, 5th Step, etc., with Fr. John Gubbins.

Fr. John has been in recovery for over 25 years. Retired after 20 years as a US Navy Chaplain, Fr. John currently assists with ministry at two parishes in San Diego and volunteers at hospice. Â Fr. John has led 12-Step retreats throughout the US and Canada since 1999.

Alison King, MS, MAC, has over 33 years experience in counseling and is currently a therapist in private practice. Â She has been on her own journey of recovery for over 35 years.
