What was it like?
Hello, my name is Barbara I live in Seward Alaska last November 1st my mother died but before she passed away, I got to tell her I was 8 years sober. She passed away that afternoon.
What happened?
November 1st I will have nine years sober and I’m so grateful to God and thankful for my family. I’m praying for my brother to sober up.
What is life like now?
Life is awesome. No more looking behind my back, no more jails or institutions. Life is simple and awesome.
Is there anything else you’d like to share?
Do you have a support system? It’s very very important having a clean and sober life just to extend your life. I’m thankful to God for what I went through.
