The Fairbanks Resilience Team is hosting, “Weaving our Strengths Together” a conference created to help the Fairbanks North Star Borough learn from our past, strengthen our present and build a strong and more resilient future for those in our community.
The goals of this conference:
-Clear understanding of the definition of resilience
-Clear understanding of the importance of ACES and of the terms, healing centered, trauma informed and trauma effective
-Amplify and celebrate the historical and current resilient efforts happening in our community
-Develop a strategic plan to move this work forward both on an individual and community level
-Provide tangible tools for participants to help regulate the effects of stress
